Bob Hays is a franchise consultant whose career brings together marketing, operations, and real‑world business leadership. After earning his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, he was accepted into the Navy’s flight program (AOCS) and went on to serve nine years as a Naval Aviator and Mission Commander flying the P‑3C Orion. His service included support for Operation Desert Shield, followed by a tour as a Flight Instructor in the Navy’s training command.

Following his military career, Bob completed his MBA at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and built a diverse background across manufacturing, transportation, industrial sales, and business consulting.

Today, Bob is a seasoned franchise consultant and a franchisee of Schooley Mitchell, based in Columbus, Ohio. Having experienced franchising from both the ownership and consulting sides, he understands the realities of launching and operating a franchise—what works, what to expect, and how to prepare for success.

Bob approaches each client relationship with practical guidance, personalized support, and a commitment to helping them define and execute their next mission—whether that mission is transitioning from the corporate world, building long‑term financial independence, or, for many military veterans, charting a purposeful new career path through franchise ownership.
